The Tate press is a great finishing exercise for your bench training days. The Tate press simulates a bench press but only engages your triceps. We still want to go heavy here, but not quite as much, think 8-10 reps per set.
A footstool elevates and supports the foot of the user. There're two types of footstools, each varied on the basis of their comfort and function. The one designed with comfort factor in mind provides comfort ability to a person seated in a chair or a sofa. This type of footstool is short, wide and four legged. Usually, its upholstery includes leather and others made out of animal hide. It is popularly known as Ottoman. The one that is designed keeping the functionality factor in mind allows the person to rest her/his feet up on it. Additionally, it also functions as a footrest, allowing the person to rest his/her whole legs horizontally. The other variety of footstool supports a person's feet that don't reach the floor when seated. The footstool is placed under the feet of the sitting person so that the person's feet may rest comfortably. It helps the blood circulation of the body to flow freely than sitting. You can be sure to add extra comfort for your guest. Just a little change will sure change the interior decor of your home.
While most benches aren't usually moved, it's good to think whether you really want the bench staying where it is forever. Concrete benches for example can't be moved so you should plan their location well. If you are not sure about it, pick wooden or metal benches and don't fix them permanently to the ground with concrete.
Foam rolling your upper body also has benefits. Loosening up your lower back can help mediate the strain and stress that is put on it when arching it during the bench press, and foam rolling your lats can help you form a tighter base from which to push. Foam rolling you biceps and front delt will also aid in loosening up your shoulder, and finally rolling around on your chest will relieve any nagging tension or strain that has built up there. Pretty much, roll, roll a lot, and do it before you lift, it helps.
